This week has been an odd one, I literally have hours and hours of work to do and can NOT get myself motivated to get started...I need a preverbial kick in the ass....

Everytime I sit down to work, I get distracted by something. Matilda needs to go outside, so I walk up to make sure that she remembers how to use the dog door (don't ask, she gets in these moods where she needs to be chaperoned to do ANYTHING including going outside or getting a drink of water), on my way back to the office I notice that there is laundry that needs to get done. I drop a load of laundry in and I see Maxwell looks so sweet snuggled up on the futon under his blanket so I take a few minutes to snuggle with him. Then I remember something that I need to put on the grocery list, then I notice that plants need some water....it can go on and on....

Is it really almost 2005? Wacky isn't it? Having a few friends over tomorrow night for fondue -- gads, I love cheese. Which reminds me, I need to get to the store for the fondue fixings and to the liquor store for champagne and then to Blockbuster to pick up movies with our "freebie" coupons that expire on Sunday. See how my mind is working these days?

Off to change out the laundry...
